Effective date: September 17, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TaskLift Reminders service ("Service") operated by TaskLift ("we," "us," or "our") at tasklift.tech. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
TaskLift Reminders is appointment reminder software for service businesses. You connect your Google Calendar, configure a reminder cadence, and the Service sends SMS appointment reminders to the phone numbers found on your calendar events.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the business entity you represent. The Service is intended for business use — sending appointment reminders to your clients/customers.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following SMS-related terms:
By connecting your Google Calendar, you authorize TaskLift to send SMS appointment reminders to phone numbers found on your calendar events. You represent that you have a legitimate business relationship with the individuals whose phone numbers appear on your calendar events and that sending appointment reminders to them is consistent with that relationship.
The Service sends appointment reminders only. You agree not to use the Service to send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages. You may customize reminder wording within the dashboard, but messages must remain appointment-related.
SMS recipients may reply STOP at any time to opt out of future messages. TaskLift automatically honors all STOP requests. You agree not to circumvent opt-outs by re-adding opted-out numbers or using alternate numbers for the same individuals.
Recipients may reply HELP for assistance. TaskLift responds with support contact information.
Message frequency depends on the reminder cadence you configure (typically up to 3 messages per appointment). Message and data rates may apply to recipients depending on their carrier and plan.
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing SMS messaging, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and carrier guidelines. You will not use the Service to send unsolicited messages or messages unrelated to appointments.
You agree not to:
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
The Service, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by TaskLift. You retain ownership of your data (account info, calendar data). You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide the Service.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. SMS delivery depends on third-party carriers and Twilio infrastructure. We are not liable for carrier delays, filtering, or delivery failures outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskLift's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue from missed appointments or undelivered messages.
You agree to indemnify and hold TaskLift harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or regulation related to SMS messaging.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, use the Service for prohibited purposes, or fail to pay. You may close your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
